Tend: Book and Tend: Album document the community gardens of Seattle. In Tend: Book a chronology of the gardens is embroidered on dirt stained silk organza pages held within covers made from used work gloves. This piece celebrates our human ability and desire to cooperate, to “tend and befriend” each other and the earth.
