Variable Dimensions

This piece is one of a series of interactive works in which I wove words into panels of cloth and viewers are invited to arrange and rearrange the panels. The original quote “Art is the dream of the life of knowledge” is by Benedetto Croce, and is carved above the original 1927 entrance to the art museum at my university..
